How To Do Currency Trading: Million Dollar Pips Review

How To Do Currency TradingWorld Currencies

“Don’t die.” That’s what my son said. We were playing one of the Mario games on his brand new Nintendo 64–yes, I’m that old–and he said he knew how to win the game, guaranteed. Like an idiot I bit. “How?” “Don’t die.” And his enormous smile told me a) he was really proud of himself for “getting” me, and b) he was having a lot of fun with me.

Simplistic as it may seem, that’s a pretty good answer for how to do currency trading, too. If your account never goes bust you’re doing all right. Ah, but that’s so much easier said than done. The fundamentals seem pretty simple–buy low, sell high–but it takes quite a bit of study to understand how markets work and how to make them work for you. Then, when you think you know something, you open an account, fund it, and hover over your screen looking for that first big score. That’s when you come face to face with the real problem with currency trading. You realize that you’re afraid. Or maybe you’re not afraid, and you dive in for trade after trade, only to find that greed is just as deadly as fear. Ignorance, fear and greed are bigger and badder than any boss you ever fought in a Mario game. Bowser’s a piece of cake compared to the demons that haunt the currency trading world. So what’s the average guy supposed to do?

Million Dollar Pips and Forex Bots

There’s a new product on the market that aims to address those demons and banish them once and for all. It’s called “Million Dollar Pips“. (Please note: this is a review of the Million Dollar Pips product. If you want to see the actual product page, you can find it here.) This product takes an extremely safe and effective currency trading strategy and automates it, giving you the opportunity to make money round the clock whether you’re paying attention or not. It’s truly a breakthrough in the currency trading world.

Currency Trading Strategy

Million Dollar Pips takes a very simple but effective approach to currency trading. Without getting overly technical, I’ll say simply that the program executes a large number of low risk microtrades. By trading frequently it minimizes the possibility of random variation trashing your results. By only risking a small percentage of your portfolio on any one trade it virtually eliminates the possibility of a single bad trade wiping out your account. True, you won’t double your money overnight, but you won’t die overnight either. And remember our first rule? Yup, don’t die.

The Human Element

Experienced currency traders will tell you that the hardest part of trading is execution. It’s often easy to see what to do. Doing it, however, is difficult. That’s because we’re all human, and humans come equipped with some very complex emotional machinery. You want to be that ice-water-in-his-veins legendary trader, don’t you? But instead you either sweat every trade or you just swoop in and ride, hoping to cash out before you get burned. Fear and greed, my friend, are the most potent enemies of any trader. That’s why I love the idea of a well-programmed trading robot. I don’t have to push the button and tell it to execute, it just does what it’s supposed to do. Ice water in its veins? How about liquid nitrogen? This thing literally doesn’t know the meaning of fear. For that matter, it’s not greedy either. It just chugs away, sifting through numbers, watching the markets until its indicators turn green (metaphorically speaking, that is), and then it executes. It gets in, it gets out, it makes money, and it does it again. If it makes a bad trade it shakes it right off and jumps on the next solid opportunity. If it makes a good trade it doesn’t get cocky, it just does it again. By taking the human out of the equation the Million Dollar Pips program reduces currency trading to a simple exercise in technical analysis, which it executes impeccably every time.

What’s Wrong With This Picture?

There’s just one thing that I can find that might give you pause: you may have to fire your broker. I know, you probably like your broker, or at least your brokerage firm. You may have a long history with them. You may have gone through some real ups and downs. They may have given you some of your earliest training. You feel loyal to them. And you want to make lots of money. Hold up a minute, are you making lots of money now? Ok, so listen carefully.

Million Dollar Pips works best with a low spread, the lower the better. If you can’t get a low spread with your current broker, you have two options: change or lose money. The program does what it does. It makes money by executing low risk microtrades. But it needs a low spread to work. So just relax, let go of your current brokerage relationship, and open another account. Keep your old broker if you like for trades that you execute yourself. But make sure that you’re working with the lowest spread that you possibly can.

Turn It On, Make Money, Enjoy

So that’s the situation. Thanks to a lot of hard work we can all take a plunge into currency trading without taking a bath. All you have to do is download Million Dollar Pips, turn it on, and let it work for you.

Finding Broken Links (and Verifying Good Ones)

My wife just asked me a very simple question: how do I know if all of my site’s links are good? She thought perhaps that some of them had gotten stale or somehow corrupted. It doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen every day, but sometimes links change or pages get deleted, so it’s a good thing to check on at least an occasional basis.

(For the record, her site is ICAN of Stafford, the online presence of the Stafford, Virginia chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network. If you are pregnant or know someone who is, I encourage you to check out both sites, especially if you live in the US.)

My first question to her was, “So are you asking me to click on every link on every page in your site?” She looked up from her screen and said, somewhat abashed, “No… If it comes to that I’ll do it myself. I just thought you might have a better way to do it.” I didn’t, but I figured there must be a script or something out there on the interwebs that could help out. And I’m happy to report that I found it. (Their HTML is pasted below.)

Check Broken Links
- a free website tool from Website Goodies.

To make a not-very-long story even more not-very-long, I ran their script and discovered that her links are all good. (There was one 404 Not Found, on her comment feed, but she doesn’t care. And there were two 302 Found redirects, but we expected those. All the rest were 200 OK.)

So if you need to check your links, try this thing out. It seems to work nicely.

DeliverMyFile.com Coupon!

File Delivery…What to do?

At some point in your online business you’re likely to have a digital product that you want to sell. Perhaps you’ll spend thousands of dollars creating a brand-new, high quality ebook or video course that will teach us all how to make more money. Or maybe you’ll purchase the rights to a Private Label Rights (PLR) product. Either way, you’ll go to great lengths to market your product, make the sale, and then…what? Send your new customer to a wide-open Thank You page? A page that anyone can email to their friends? A page that the search engines might find and index, opening your store to the world? You might as well just give your product away. (Well, actually, I just saw an interesting video on that subject, but that’s for another post.)

Manage and Control Your Downloads

So, if you’re not trying to give free products to the world, what then? You need some way to manage and control your downloads. And that’s where DeliverMyFile.com comes in. These guys have thought this subject through and offer a great–and affordable–solution to the file delivery problem. Their bullet points (ripped shamelessly from their web site):

  • Instantly deliver your downloads to the customer when a payment is received
  • Protect your downloads to prevent link sharing and theft
  • Integrate with affiliate networks to maximize your sales

But Don’t Spend A Lot On Download Management

But best of all, they charge next to nothing! Here’s an example, again from their website. If you have a 5 MB file, and it gets downloaded 100 times in a month, you’ll end up paying about $2.98 total. It’ll cost you about a nickel to store the file and less than three cents per download. (Now don’t hold them to this, because as we know prices can change. This isn’t a guarantee of a particular price, it’s simply an estimate based on information available at the time of this writing.) Not bad, eh?

A DeliverMyFile.com Coupon Just For You

And I can make it better. If you sign up here and use my delivermyfile.com coupon code, ERICKS2OFF, you get $2 credited to your account (and I get $2 credited to my account too!).  So get on over there and sign up already!

Profit Jackpot Pre-Review

Wait, pre-review? What’s that?

Well, normally I wait until I’ve paid my money and tried out a product before I write about it. And I’m not always nice. If I got my money back, I tell you about it. But this time someone has done something so unusual that I just had to tell you about it.

Anik Singal has come out with a program that he is calling Profit Jackpot. What’s unusual about this thing is that he created a 10-minute video showing you exactly what he does and how it works. There’s no litany of nots: you know, it’s not twitter, it’s not seo, it’s not adwords, etc. Instead he tells and shows exactly what he has. And I gotta tell ya, it looks pretty good.

Auto-Blogging, v2.0

Anik has put a team of 30 programmers to work for 6 months to put together what amounts to 3 WordPress plugins (or so it appears from the video and other prerelease information). One of those plugins grabs article content from somewhere out there in webland, another grabs videos (presumably from YouTube), and the third is an auto-spinner. Ok, let that sink in. An auto-spinner that’s good enough to put directly into your blog? I’ll have to see it to believe it, and as soon as I hit “Publish” on this post I’m off to put my money down and see it, but it’s pretty exciting that someone as well-respected as Anik is willing to put his money on an auto-spinner.

Aside: Spinning is a way to reuse content without getting penalized for publishing stuff that already exists elsewhere on the web. It’s ok to reuse some content, of course, but there are sites out there that just grab content from anywhere and everywhere and republish it without ever adding one single original post. Whether that’s a legitimate business model is left as an exercise for the reader. The point here is that search engines penalize such sites. Now, to get around that penalty, there are tools called Spinners which allow one to selectively rewrite articles so that their general message remains but is restated in different words. But they usually require human review, because it’s so difficult to provide synonyms automatically without totally garbling the text that is being rewritten. What Anik has, if it works, is technology that will do the spinning without requiring human review. That’s huge.

So the concept is that you set up a blog, populate it with automatic content, monetize it, send it some traffic (addressed in an upgrade offer), and watch the money come rolling in. How much money? Even Anik is careful not to overclaim. He’s not trying to convince you that you’ll get rich overnight on this thing.

Challenge 25

The challenge that Anik puts forward is for you to create 25 sites using this software. He says that seems to be the tipping point. Out of 25 sites, at least some of them will prove reasonably profitable, and in the aggregate they’ll be enough to convince you that this way of internet marketing is worth the effort. 25 sites each making a little money each day adds up.

Internet Real Estate

After you put up your 25 sites, what then? Well, put up some more. Profit Jackpot really seems to be set-it-and-forget-it. It’s not a get-rich-quick-on-auto-pilot offer, but it definitely is an auto-pilot offer. So it’s not so important that any one site make a lot of money. Just keep developing sites, then forget about them, let them continue to cook and bring in money, and develop more. You could even make it into kind of a contest. Be the first in your little social circle to get to 100 sites. Or 1,000 sites. You choose. Just keep developing and earning and after a while you’ll notice that you have more money than you know what to do with.

So that’s what Profit Jackpot is all about, or at least what I can glean from the video. I’m off to buy it right now. If you want to do the same, please click here to buy Profit Jackpot right now. If this review has been helpful to you please help me pay my bills.

Thanks

Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage Review

Don’t Buy Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage

If you’ve been in the online marketing business for any length of time you know the value of traffic. Traffic is your lifeblood. There are two factors that are essential for the success of any online business: traffic and conversions. “Traffic”, of course, refers to the people who come to visit your website. It’s the equivalent of foot traffic in a retail store. You can’t sell something to someone if they don’t see your offer. The larger the number of visitors to your site, the more money you’re likely to make. Traffic is incredibly important.

“Conversions” refer to the number of those visitors who actually buy from you. If you get 1,000 visitors today, and 10 of them buy, you have a 1% conversion rate. (10 buyers / 1,000 visitors = 1%.) Once you start getting a lot of traffic you can think about how to convert more of those visitors to customers, but first you need traffic. And that’s why you’re wondering about Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage.

I’m going to do something different in this review. I’m sure you’ve seen lots of “unbiased” reviews of products that are really just unabashed sales pages for the product. This isn’t one of those. In fact, I’m going to recommend that you DON’T buy Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage. I did and then got my money refunded. Nevertheless, after reading this, you might decide that it’s exactly what you want. If that is the case, please Buy Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage from me. Why? I’m providing good, honest information, and this is how I make my living. If this information helps you, buy through my link. It doesn’t cost you any more and it helps me pay my bills. Thank you. (Oh, by the way, if you just go to http://xtremetrafficarbitrage.com you’ll be told that you’re too late and the product is sold out. You aren’t and it isn’t, they just want to make sure you go through an affiliate link to buy the product. They’re trying to help the people who are helping them.)

What Do They Claim About Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage?

The sales page has a very long video explaining how important it is to get traffic. It also includes a rant against black hat scammers and thieves who somehow have been stealing your traffic and commissions. The basic claim is that, by using the Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage software, you will be able to slip by these bad guys, get loads of targeted traffic to your website, and make tons of money. Isn’t that what we all want to hear? They don’t really explain how this is arbitrage, though. (For those of you who aren’t finance geeks, when two markets are out of sync, one might be able to buy something cheaply in one market and sell it for more money on another. Arbitrage is a cheap, low risk money machine.) They just kind of slip that word in there. We learn later what they mean.

How Does Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage Generate Traffic?

Well, that’s the rub. It doesn’t. In fact, Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage has nothing to do with traffic generation or traffic arbitrage whatsoever. You can’t use Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage to get more traffic for your website. Period.

Ready to buy this fine product? Just click here.

Well Then WTF Does It Do?

Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage is actually a set of videos that explain how to find and exploit available LOCAL domain names for products and services that people might want to find, coupled with a software tool that automates the finding part. We discover, once inside the members area, that in this case “arbitrage” means finding available .com domain names that we can buy, build a small site that talks about local businesses, get it ranked on the first page of Google, and then sell it to one of those local businesses.  As an example, they show what they did for restaurants in Stockton Heath (which I take it is somewhere in the UK). Take a peek at this screen shot:

Google Results for Stockton Heath Restaurants

How about that? First place on the front page of Google. I’ve linked the screen shot above to the actual site. Feel free to click it and look around. It’ll open in a new window so you don’t lose your place here.

So that’s the idea. Find a ton of those unclaimed local domain names, throw up a ton of low effort sites for keywords that probably don’t get searched a whole lot (but that just means that it’s easy to rank for those keywords) and then sell them off for whatever the market will bear, maybe in the neighborhood of $500 – $800 or so.

So Does It Work?

Stafford Beauty Salons, an XTA site

Well, kind of, yeah. I created a site for the keywords Stafford Beauty Salons. Here’s my Google screen shot.

As before, I’ve linked the image to the site. Sorry about the size of the image, but I wanted to show you where I show up. The site has only been up for one week, but I’m already on the Google front page. I actually have two slots, number 8 and number 9, which really isn’t bad in my opinion. With a little SEO work I can probably bump it up a few notches.

I haven’t tried to sell the site yet, but I have put a little bit of advertising on it to try to get some sort of revenue stream established. Its real value, though, is to those local businesses whose livelihood depends on customers finding them. If they want to take advantage of this newly created beauty salon directory they’ll have to either pay me for a featured listing or buy the site outright. Either way is ok by me.

So What Did They Do Wrong?

Well, first of all, this product does not live up to its advertising claims in the least. A lot of times I’ll buy something that has inflated claims and be disappointed, but I’ll keep it because I figure it was just sales “puffery” (that’s a real legal term, btw) and not outright deceit, and I learned something valuable from the purchase. And, in truth, I did learn the value of small local sites and lightly searched keywords. It’s a lot easier to rank highly on Google for keywords that don’t get much substantive competition. And that’s what we have here. But that’s not what they sold me. They sold me a traffic system and I didn’t get it. I just couldn’t in good conscience allow them to cheat me like that, even if they did give me some sort of value instead.

Another thing about this product is its heavy reliance on British English keywords. The Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage software comes with a number of keywords built in. You can type in your own, but you can’t save them. So clearly the value of the tool is directly related to the usefulness of the keywords supplied. They use keywords that are probably common on the east side of the pond–like Solicitors and Tyres–but left out the west side counterparts–like Attorneys or Lawyers or Tires. And that’s a pity if you want to make a local phone call to a local business to try to sell your brand new site.

Third, one of the post-sale upsell packages (yes, of course they have those) promises cut-and-paste information that you can use to greatly multiply the effectiveness of the package while reducing your workload dramatically. It’s now two months after product launch (and counting) and the only cut-and-paste item they have posted is a rather uninspired email message meant to be sent to local business managers asking them to buy your site. That’s it. Just one email for your upgrade dollars. No thanks, guys, money back now please.

Is That What You Want?

So there’s the truth about Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage. If you’re looking for a traffic system, this is not it. But it’s not a bad concept, especially if you live in the UK. You might even want to spring for the upgraded software. That comes with more keywords. If you want to make money buying local domains for cheap, throwing up simple sites, then flipping them, this is not a bad product. You now know what you’re buying. Just ignore the sales video, hit the Add To Cart button, and get started.

I know what I’m getting. I want to buy Xtreme Traffic Arbitrage. Take me to the sales page, please.

Best wishes, and I’ll see you in my next review.

Are You Mobile Yet?

Last August–that would be August 2010–Google made some really cool mobile product announcements. The video is linked below.

And why should you care?

You know that you need a web presence. The effectiveness of advertising in print and broadcast media and bulky directories has been declining for probably about a decade now. You may still be trying to find your way online, experimenting with the best way(s) to have a web presence. A traditional web site is important, sure. Are you using social media effectively? Do you have a company blog? Are you on Facebook? Twitter? LinkedIn? Most smaller businesses are still struggling with how to best represent themselves online.

So now along come the smart phones. More and more of your customers and potential customers will be using mobile devices to find what they need. If your online presence doesn’t translate well to mobile, well, those people will end up being your competitors’ customers instead of yours. They will find someone to fill their needs, one way or another. You need to be the one that they see first and most. You need to be the name that they come to associate with your market. You need to make sure that your business is well represented online in all possible arenas. You need to go mobile.

Let's Talk About Why You Need Internet Law Compliance

Internet Law Compliance (ILC) is an extensive set of products all designed to keep you, the online entrepreneur, out of trouble. There is an eBook, a set of downloadable forms that you can use as-is or customize to fit your needs, a number of mini-reports on specialized topics that might be of interest to some but not all internet entrepreneurs, and two (as of this writing) recorded tele-seminars. You also get access to the members area of the ILC web site for as long as the site exists. Jack Campitelli, JD, has clearly done his homework on this product. There is no guarantee that this product will keep you out of all legal trouble--no product can make that guarantee--but it looks to my untrained and unlawyerly eye as if this product comes as close to that goal as is possible. More importantly, it's not just lawyer-speak. Everything in this product is geared to helping you make more sales. And sales are why we're all here, right?
